L is for leaf! and library!

I wanted to update my blog on Isaac’s recent choices from the school library.. so far this term we’ve had some lovely books come home.. Can’t you sleep little bear and Owl babies.. two books we have enjoyed in the past. I’m interested to see what he brings home next!!

We have been really busy.. we went to the museum in our home town yesterday which was really great and kid friendly. Isaac loved playing with the microscope the best so I might have a little scientist on my hands!!

Tody after school we did some leaf activities. We have not completed everything I had planned but he’s a little tired today.

First he sorted different kids of beans in a muffin tin.. I think this was a bit easy for him so didn’t hold his attention very long. We then stuck loads of beans on to a leaf shape to make a really pretty leaf!

We then painted glue over capital and lower case Ll and crushed lots of crunchy leaves to put over them to make textured autumn letters!!
